doubles

i worked 35 hours this week. 

wanna know what that's all going to?

books. for. school.

i feel like i should be waking up tomorrow and heading over to mountain view and just praying i don't fall or get squished in that walk of death parking lot. 

but instead, i'm heading off to my SECOND semester of college. 

i am so OLD. 

i'm super stoked for school though. i picked out pretty sick classes and i think it'll be a fun semester (as long as my personal math tutor helps me out:)) 

on friday, britt and i went to target. because everyone loves target. then taylor and i went on a sorta double with ellie and jerehl. her new 24 year old beau. we went to starbucks and just talked. jerehl was one of those overly friendly "trying-to-stick-his-head-up-your-butt" sorta guy.

then we went to jerehl's apartment and it had a faint smell of weed. so we bounced as soon as the vodka was broken out.

then on saturday, i was planning on working at noon, then having a girls night with britt britt. then a girl called me and was like "hey ali! can you take my shift?? my car won't start..please??" and i was like "sure.." i figured i'd get cut at 8 at the latest. but the girl i was covering for was coordinating for the night so that ended up being me. i'd done it before so i figured it'd be the same. until i found out that we had 1. a party of 100 coming in 2. the owner reserved 3 of our biggest tables 3.a party of 15 AND half the restaurant closed at 6. i sat a table at like 5:45, but they wanted a tv, so they switched tables within the section that was closed, and one of the managers flipped and came up to the podium and totally let me have it.  so here i am, at the podium, trying my very hardest not to cry while we have a whole lobby full of hungry people. eventually, the same manager who yelled at me took over so i ran into the back and bussed my little heart out. then i FINALLY went home. after almost 10 freaking hours. never has my be felt so comfy.

today we had 11 am church:) praise the lord. but it broke my heart when my sunbeams left our class and went to the big kids class. i miss my cute little sunbeams. 

but! i got 5 new ones!!:) and! two of them are super cuddly, one boy is crazy and the funniest thing alive, another little girl is super shy and adorable, and parker was sobbing the whole time. it's gonna be a fun year:) 

here's to new sunbeams, a new semester, working doubles and double dates:), and target trips:)
