welcome 2013

it's officially 2013. 

i am so excited and so scared at the same time. 

if all goes as planned, this is going to be my last year at home. 

i'll have one more semester at UVU after spring, then i'm going to move out.

goodbye orem, hello salt lake:) 

i don't think anyone understands how ridiculously excited i am.

but i'm so scared at the same time. 

and even thinking of leaving all my friends down here breaks my heart. 

2013 is gonna be one heck of a year.

i am going to finish my FIRST YEAR of college.

i am working my FIRST job.

i still have the same boyfriend:)

a ton of my friends are going on missions.

so i really will be friendless. wah. 

but i dunno. i am so excited to see what this year is going to bring me:) 

i spent the first day of the year working! woot woot. but really, i kinda do like my work. i even made friends!

BUT! there is one thing i've learned that i hate.

stupid servers. 

today i was bussing and it always gets super slow. then everyone leaves at once, then i have 23 tables to bus at the same time. so you have to move fast. i was bringing back a tray full of dirty dishes and this server came up to me and was like "my table needs to be cleaned.." and i was already heading out there so i was like "i was just heading over there", but usually when i beat a server to their table, the come out and say "oh! hey thanks!!" but fabio (he only looks like fabio. his name isn't really fabio)  was a snot about it. so chase helps me clear the table because it was a gnarly mess. and then i come back and fabio was like "there was a check on my tab;e. what did you do with it?" but when i went out there, there was no check on the table. so chase was like "they don't ever move the checks..but we'll check again." and i was SO bugged. why would i steal your tips?? i mean really. then fabio was mean to me for the rest of the night. i was so irked. 

but all in all, it's been a good start to the year.
