so like a week ago i woke up with the world's worst sore throat.
like not even kidding. it was awful .
so like any good little kid would do, i ate a TON of cough drops.
and i mean a TON.
but they did little. :(
so i had to drink that nasty cough syrup. for adults:(
one of the bad things about growing up, cough syrup is DISGUSTING.
it's not longer bubble gum, or grape or even cherry.
it's always nasty flavored. they say it's cherry, but when the heck has anyone tasted a cherry that tastes like plastic?????
but again, that did verrry little:P
during this entire time, i thought it'd be a good idea to take it easy with track and tkd. just for like a week until i could breathe again ya know?
only thing was that we had a meet today. so i had to run at least once.. or not race today. BUT
i don't like not racing.. it's not fun. not right in the track world.
the moment i went back to my ever stopping life, my throat started feeling better.
today after the 3200, it hurt, but when it stopped, it was awesome.
officially, i think my body has an awkward addiction to running.
awesome.
today's meet was okay thought. it was at lehi and there were only 3 schools there. us, lehi, and west lake. it went pretty fast. but since gas is so crazy expensive, i rode the bus up there. only thing was that i didn't race until the last 3 events of the whole meet. but i was there all day.
the order the meet went (well for the last 3 races..) was, the 200, then 3200, then 4x4 relay. guess what my races were... 200, 3200, then 4x4. :P FML
but i didn't have to run the 4x4. the 3200 was SO long. and even though i was sick and ran with un untied shoelace, i did ok. ha next week, i decided that i'm breaking 14. it can't be that hard. i run a 630 mile. so if i keep consistant, i'll be okay:)
